First look at the HOTT lizardmen

I've started building a Hordes of the Things army for my son, Mac, using some old skinks I had lying about.  There's some learning at work here for me, including how to paint miniatures that don't have either a) a cast-on base or b) a based glued onto it.  I also decided to spray paint the minis the main color, since I had a green that Mac liked, although I think it is too dark for my taste.  In any case, here's the first set of six skinks being painted while still on the sprue.
I have obviously removed most of the sprue and attached the spear/javelin arms before painting.  I'm painting the shields separately and will glue them on before I dip them in the wood varnish.
