I haven't built any terrain in a while, but I got several molds from A&K Studios and decided to try them out. I figured I'd start with something simple, because while I'm pretty familiar with using Hirst Arts molds, these bricks are a lot thinner and more fragile. A&K use a laser cutter to machine the masters, so the detail is very, very fine. In any case, I built a simple box out of foamcore with a little lip around the top and then covered the surface with the pieces from the mold. I kept the building pretty generic--the Gilder Street Bank could be from any time from the late 1800's to a post-apocalyptic future.
